In order to create public awareness, Instituto Liberdade in partnership with Instituto de Estudos Empresariais and ACLAME are organizing and promoting the traditional campaign to sell gasoline without taxes to the community, in Porto Alegre.

Date: May 25th, 2010

Venue: Posto da Firense Combustíveis at Rua Santana 345.

Time: there will be a waiting line with distribution of a pin, first come first served basis starting at 8 am; the campaign starts at 10 am.

The total commercialized volume is 2,000 liters, and the quota is 20 liters per vehicle. The fuel at the gas station price is R$ 2.579 per liter and the fuel with no taxes is R$ 1.25 per liter. Meaning 53.03% of tributes over the gasoline.
