Cato University is the Cato Institute´s premier educational event of the year. This annual program brings together outstanding faculty and participants from across the country and, often, from around the globe - business and professional people, retirees, business owners, students, employees of large and small firms, and many others who share a commitment to liberty and learning.
This year´s program, "Economic Crisis, War, and the Rise of the State," offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore how the state has expanded during times of crises; the threats to liberty, privacy, and independence that have arisen as a result; and what can be done to restrain - or reverse - its growth.
The setting: Rancho Bernardo Inn - www.ranchobernardoinn.com - just a few miles north of San Diego. Its world-class facilities, easy access, and wonderful climate combine to make Cato University an unparalleled education and vacation experience.
Price: The low price of $975 covers all meals, receptions, lectures, materials, books, and evening events, but not overnight room charges at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. However, we've been able to arrange an exceptionally low room rate for participants. Cost details are located at www.cato-university.org.
