This year’s Economic Freedom Network Asia Conference will be jointly organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) and two Malaysian EFN Asia members: the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) and the Center for Public Policy Studies (CPPS). We will address the role of government, competition policy and enforcement as well as competition in public service delivery.
The conference will take place from 10th to 13th October in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with the theme: “Competition: Engine for Prosperity.”
The 2011 Economic Freedom of the World Report will be launched in Kuala Lumpur. The conference will include world-café sessions and three panel discussions on the role of government, competition policy and enforcement as well as competition in public service delivery.
